Konoro Kingdom - Item Guide

Get started, learn how to create and use items

Items give bonuses to your leaders. They can only have the same sorts of bonuses that leaders have but they can give a leader a bonus that one doesn't have.

Before you can create an item you need three things:

  • Certain buildings in the settlement
  • A high enough research rank in Item Making
  • A leader with a high enough item making bonus

Items come in 5 grades:

  • A Basic grade item can have 6 bonuses and requires a leader bonus of only 2
  • A Fine grade item can have 12 bonuses and requires a leader bonus of 15
  • An Exceptional grade item can have 18 bonuses and requires a leader bonus of 30
  • A Mastercraft grade item can have 24 bonuses and requires a leader bonus of 45
  • An Artefact grade item can have 66 bonuses and requires a leader bonus of 66

Before you can create an item you need three things:

  • Certain buildings in the settlement
  • A high enough research rank in Item Making
  • A leader with a high enough Item making bonus

Hiring Leonardo for three jewels will increase the number of bonuses by a third. (not yet implemented)

There are 8 classes of items

  • Shield (1 variant)
  • Axe (1 variant)
  • Helm (1 variant)
  • Sword (4 variants)
  • Cloak (4 variants)
  • Armour (1 variant)
  • Banner (2 variants)
  • Tools (3 variants)

Each class of item may have many variants, the simple variants have low building and research requirements. The variants with more sophisticated bonuses have higher building requirements and may require a high degree of Item making research.

There are 30 ranks of Item Making research; basic items can be made with no research at all. The higher the grade and the more sophisticated the variant then the higher the research required.

In addition most items have a choice of picture, which comes with a name and you can also choose a background colour for any item you create. For instance when you create a sword you can have a picture of a scimitar and the item will be called a scimitar however this has no effect on the bonuses an item gives.
