Exploring

Exploring the map allows you to see friends/foes and find resources

  1. Click the map icon on the left of any view
  2. Click any blue '?' on the map
  3. Click the explore button, which will send your explorer away
  4. As soon as your explorer gets to his location, the land will be revealed and your explorer will venture back

Gain Resources

Although you gain resources straight away, you can upgrade your resource fields for greater resource output

  1. Click the Resource Field icon on the left of any view
  2. You should see resource nodes, which are clickable, click any field
  3. Click Construct/Upgrade to increase the field's level, which will increase resource output

Construct Buildings

Constructing and upgrading buildings provide a variety of functionality and benefits

  1. You are first presented with the village view upon first logging in but you can click the first icon on the top left
  2. Within the village view, you are presented with 3 different construction, click either a small, medium or large square
  3. Click any building to start construction, if you have the resources required
  4. The building should start constructing/upgrading and once done, it will change from a construction site to a building

Use Markets

Markets allow you to trade resources with other players

  1. First you must build a Trading Post
  2. Once constructed, click the Trading Post
  3. Use the forms provided within each section to trade

Attacking

Other villages can be attacked using an army

  1. First build an army through construction of a barracks
  2. Once you have some sort of army, go to the map view by clicking the icon on the left
  3. Find another village by navigating around the map and click it
  4. Click Attack and choose how many troops you would like to send

Settling New Villages

You can settle another village on unoccupied land. Only some of these you can directly settle on.

  1. Click on your village hall and build 10 settlers
  2. Click on your market and build 3 Horse & Carts under the 'Units' section
  3. Find an unoccupied square which allows you to settle on
  4. Click 'Settle' and enter the amount of resource you wish your settlers to take with you

Conquering Villages

To conquer another settlement you need to include a priest unit with an attack.

  1. You need to lower defender's Fealty to 0 to take the settlement.
  2. You can not lower the fealty of a player's Capital or Last settlement unless they are deleting
  3. If a defending settlement has a Shrine you will find it very difficult to conquer.
  4. If attacking a player with less population than yourself you lower Fealty less.
  5. To regain Fealty you need to have a Kings Villa or Brewery or to hold parties.
